Account Executive - In-Territory (Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Sarasota)

Justworks is a mission-driven HR and payroll platform that helps small businesses focus on running their company. The sales team seeks an in-territory Account Executive to own the full sales cycle in the Florida market, build pipeline through proactive prospecting, develop relationships across the small business community, and close new business to drive revenue growth.

Skills

  • Proven consultative sales skills across prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing
  • Cold-calling and high-velocity lead generation experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship-focused engagements
  • Territory development and networking skills
  • Ability to distill complex topics into simple, customer-friendly language
  • Results-driven and detail-oriented with strong judgment

Responsibilities

  • Own full sales cycle from prospecting to close and manage personal book of business
  • Build and maintain an end-to-end sales pipeline and meet or exceed quota
  • Establish presence in assigned territory and execute market research and networking plans
  • Proactively prospect using sales tools, cold outreach, and events to generate new business
  • Present value proposition, negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Represent customer voice internally to influence product and experience improvements
  • Travel in-territory (approximately 25%) for events, meetings, and networking

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Willingness to complete or maintain product and industry training
