Territory Sales Manager - Hartford, CT

We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Manager to drive growth and profitability across the assigned territory. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, surgery centers, and healthcare organizations while promoting clinically differentiated products. The ideal candidate uses a consultative, value-based selling approach, collaborating with key stakeholders such as anesthesia, respiratory, and supply chain teams. Success in this role requires strategic account management, multi-departmental engagement, and a results-driven mindset to maximize both market penetration and customer satisfaction. The position involves a combination of remote work and travel within the Hartford, CT area and surrounding regions.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare providers, IDNs, GPOs, and surgery centers.
  • Drive sales growth by expanding existing business and introducing new products within the territory.
  • Apply clinical knowledge to differentiate products and demonstrate value to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to ensure proper product placement, inventory, and forecasting.
  • Manage opportunity pipelines, sales forecasting, and reporting through Salesforce CRM.
  • Plan and execute strategic account initiatives, including presentations to individuals and committees.
  • Participate in training, product education, and support programs to enhance customer engagement.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant medical sales experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience selling medical products in hospital or alternate care settings.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives using value-based selling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of GPOs, IDNs, and the hospital supply chain landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 60% travel).
  • Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
