Director of Client Success (Remote - US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Bankjoy. We are currently looking for a Director of Client Success in the United States.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Client Success to lead and scale a high-performing client success function. In this role, you will drive product adoption, foster long-term client relationships, and ensure that client needs shape organizational priorities. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, support, and sales teams to implement scalable success frameworks, optimize client onboarding, and deliver measurable business impact. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic vision, and a customer-focused mindset to elevate client experience and retention across the organization.

Accountabilities

  • Client Growth & Relationship Management – Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring clients unlock full value from products and achieve strategic growth.
  • Product Adoption & Success Frameworks – Design and operationalize scalable client success frameworks, including onboarding programs, success plans, engagement metrics, QBRs, and education campaigns.
  • Team Leadership & Escalation Management – Lead, mentor, and coach the Client Success Management (CSM) team, providing guidance on strategy, best practices, and skill development. Act as a senior point of contact for escalations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Implementation, Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless onboarding, smooth transitions, proactive issue resolution, and feedback loops into product development.
  • Measurement & Insights – Define, track, and report KPIs such as product adoption, engagement scores, retention, and client satisfaction, providing executive-level reporting on client health and opportunities.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer onboarding, implementations, or project management within an enterprise SaaS or FinTech environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude to quickly understand applications, integrations, and business rules governing client systems.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with proven ability to train, engage, and earn client trust.
  • Experience using project management and customer relationship management systems (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling client success teams and programs.
  • Competitive base salary: $150,000 – $160,000/year, plus bonus/equity opportunities.
