Director, Microsoft Technology Alliance

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Microsoft Technology Alliance in the United States.

The Director, Microsoft Technology Alliance will lead the global strategy and execution of a high-impact technology partnership with Microsoft. This role involves cultivating executive relationships, driving joint go-to-market initiatives, and maximizing revenue through co-selling and integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between organizations, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring strategic objectives are met. You will identify opportunities to expand partner programs, integrate products with Microsoft technologies, and optimize alliance performance. This position offers the chance to influence enterprise strategy, guide collaborative initiatives, and play a pivotal role in a fast-growing, global technology environment.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, manage, and execute a global alliance strategy with Microsoft, defining objectives, KPIs, and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships across Microsoft, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Lead joint go-to-market strategies, co-selling programs, and co-marketing campaigns to generate pipeline and accelerate deal closures.
  • Identify and promote integrated solutions combining company offerings with Microsoft technologies (Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft 365, Surface).
  • Manage engagement with Microsoft Partner Network programs to maximize incentives, benefits, and visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—product, sales, marketing, and engineering—to ensure alignment and successful execution of alliance objectives.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on the Microsoft ecosystem, providing insights on strategic direction, organizational changes, and opportunities for growth.

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, business development, or channel sales within the enterprise software or SaaS industry.
  • 5–7 years of direct experience managing a technology alliance with Microsoft.
  • Deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including go-to-market strategies, partner programs, and cloud platforms (Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft 365, Surface).
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, pipeline development, and achieving partnership KPIs.
  • Strong leadership and influence skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for engaging with senior executives.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking to translate corporate goals into actionable partnership initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Competitive salary range: $220,000 – $230,000 per year.
