We are seeking a strategic and experienced professional to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise data architecture. This role offers the opportunity to shape scalable, secure, and integrated data platforms that support analytics, reporting, compliance, and business operations. Accountabilities:

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing enterprise-wide data strategies while leading a small team with potential growth. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture, including data models, pipelines, and platform strategy.
• Lead integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems.
• Establish and enforce standards for data quality, metadata management, lineage, and classification.
• Partner with engineering, security, and compliance teams to align data practices with privacy, retention, and access policies.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS, supporting audits and vendor onboarding.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers, analysts, and specialists, promoting innovation and accountability.
• Drive adoption of best practices, modern data technologies, and a data-driven culture across the organization.
• Support analytics, AI/ML initiatives, and enterprise-wide data warehousing efforts.

Candidates should combine strong technical expertise with leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. Essential qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data management.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data stacks (ELT tools, DBT, Kafka, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional data teams.
• Deep understanding of data modeling (OLTP/OLAP), APIs, and system integration.
• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with AI/ML, predictive analytics, or advanced data science applications.
• Professional certifications (CDMP, AWS Certified Data Analytics, TOGAF) preferred.
