Business Development Manager - EV and Clean Energy Solutions

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - EV and Clean Energy Solutions in United States.

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic sales leader to drive business growth in the EV and clean energy solutions sector. This role focuses on developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and executing innovative sales strategies for sustainable energy technologies, including EV charging, energy storage, and off-grid solutions. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery, influence market expansion initiatives, and represent the organization at industry events. This position offers high visibility, the opportunity to lead complex sales cycles, and a chance to make a meaningful impact on the adoption of clean energy solutions.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Proactively generate and qualify new leads through cold-calling, networking, and industry outreach.
  • Manage the full sales funnel from initial contact to deal closure, including proposal development and contract negotiation.
  • Educate clients on EV and clean energy solutions, providing customized recommendations aligned with their business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (construction, engineering, marketing, customer service, finance) to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets, expand partnerships, and secure enterprise and government accounts.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to inform growth strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline management using CRM tools such as Salesforce.

  • Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with a strong track record in EV charging, renewable energy, or clean energy technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to generate new business, manage complex sales cycles, and exceed revenue targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Expertise in B2B sales and enterprise client management; B2C experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to sales strategy and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required; valid driver’s license.
