Business Development Lead, Commercial

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Development Lead, Commercial in the United States.

In this role, you will be the first dedicated B2B sales leader for a disruptive outdoor air management brand, bringing quiet, efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions to commercial and institutional clients. You will develop and execute sales strategies targeting landscapers, resorts, golf courses, municipalities, campuses, and distributor networks. The role requires field engagement, regulatory knowledge, and a strong ability to translate technical innovation into clear value propositions. You will drive market adoption, build lasting partnerships, and provide feedback to shape future product lines. This is an opportunity to lead the commercialization of breakthrough technology while influencing market trends and creating measurable business impact.


  • Accountabilities
  • Build and manage a focused B2B sales pipeline across commercial, public-sector, and distributor accounts.
  • Prioritize high-value regions using regulatory trends, noise ordinances, and electrification initiatives.
  • Travel extensively (~75%) to conduct demos, pilots, trade shows, and on-site activations.
  • Design and execute pilot programs with measurable success metrics, converting them into multi-site deployments.
  • Translate complex technical and regulatory content into compelling ROI narratives for non-technical buyers.
  • Develop partnerships with industry organizations, dealers, and distributors to expand reach and facilitate warm introductions.
  • Provide customer insights to inform product development for current and future quiet-air platforms.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, forecast sales performance, and contribute to building the company’s early sales playbook.
  • Requirements
  • U.S. Person status required due to potential access to export-controlled data.
  • 5–10 years of B2B field sales experience in hardware, tools, EV/clean tech, industrial equipment, or outdoor power equipment.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quotas in multi-stakeholder deals (e.g., property managers, procurement, facilities, sustainability).
  • Experience selling into at least two of the following markets: commercial landscapers, hospitality/resorts, municipalities, campuses, or distributor networks.
  • Strong comfort with travel, CRM systems, pipeline management, and territory planning.
  • Ability to translate technical and regulatory information into clear, persuasive value propositions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Action-oriented mindset with experience in early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • Bonus Qualifications
  • Prior experience launching new hardware product lines or categories in startups.
  • Knowledge of outdoor power equipment distribution channels and certification/advocacy organizations (e.g., AGZA).
  • Experience selling into adjacent high-value air-moving markets like advanced cooling, clean energy, or premium ventilation.
  • Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish) for work with crews or municipalities.
