Summary  

insightsoftware is seeking a Learning Consultant to join our internal Learning & Development team.  This role is responsible for organizational development, communications, and consulting with the business to build learning programs aligned to our goals and in support of our employee value proposition to become your best professional self. 

Responsibilities

Product Certification Program

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of software product certification programs to ensure the mastery at each level of certification for our employees and partners.

  • Program Development & Strategy
    • Maintain and update certification framework, standards, and criteria
    • Lead bi-weekly governance committee meetings
    • Implement and manage credential strategy (badging) with vendor
    • Prioritize development for product training based on product strategy and roadmap
  • Process Management
    • Manage application, testing, and renewal/recertification processes
    • Ensure smooth operations of certification within Workday Learning, Questionmark, and certificate and badge achievements
    • Monitor adherence to accreditation requirements
    • Conduct audits and reviews of certification activities
    • Maintain relationship with badge vendor
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Create and manage a project plan and communication plan for new and/or updated product learning programs and communicate status to stakeholders. 
    • Adhere to deadlines and ensure communications are sent announcing new programs.
    • Collaborate with L&D, Professional Services, Partner Enablement, and Product teams
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and assessors
  • Data & Reporting
    • Report status of certification completions and encourage adoption
    • Track certification metrics (e.g., pass rates, renewal rates)
    • Provide insights to leadership on program effectiveness
  • Recognition & Communication
    • Maintain communication plan for new and updated certification release
    • Promote use of digital badges and certificates.
    • Public acknowledgment (e.g., newsletters)
  • Technology & Tools Standards with workflows
    • Partner with Sr. Learning Administrator on the LMS and Assessment standards for certification
    • Manage certification technology standards and communicate to content creators
  • Recertification Oversight
    • Track Partner and Employee certification expirations
    • Manage timing/notifications for employees and partners
    • Maintain badges and certifications as  products change

Organizational Development

  • Responsible for core learning programs for individual contributors across the organization; leverage off-the-shelf content and create company specific content aligned to our competency model as needed.
  • Partner with business subject matter experts to perform needs assessments to identify gaps in training, skills, and performance, and by evaluating and analyzing L&D programs to ensure alignment with business unit needs and organizational goals.
  • Design, develop, and facilitate learning and development programs, curriculum, and processes aligned to our competencies and business goals for individual contributors across the organization.  Leverage off-the shelf learning programs and courses from external vendor
  • Produce and facilitate virtual training programs as needed.
  • Manage vendor delivered courses from contract execution to delivery and evaluation.
  • Create and manage a project plan and communication plan for new and/or updated learning programs.  Adhere to deadlines and ensure communications are sent announcing new programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI and assimilate data for metrics reporting and provide monthly to L&D.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain an understanding of training trends, developments and industry practices and share knowledge with L&D team.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation for North America new hires occasionally.  Ensure new hires feel welcomed by providing a positive onboarding experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience designing, facilitating, and developing learning programs for all levels of an organization; helpful to have experience with software certification
  • Strong facilitation skills via remote learning platforms and communication technologies.
  • Must possess strong project management skills and business acumen.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining certification programs including standards and recertification oversight
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Learning Management System and assessment tool experience, especially with Workday Learning
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter ability to work independently
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to present issues clearly and provide solutions
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • ATD Certification preferred
