Senior People Partner, GTM

Gusto builds payroll, benefits, and HR tools for small businesses and supports over 400,000 customers nationwide. The Senior People Partner, GTM will be a senior strategic partner to GTM leadership (Sales, Marketing, RevOps), designing AI-native organizational strategy, coaching executives, and leading complex structural interventions to position GTM for long-term success.

Skills

  • Progressive HR/People Partner experience supporting senior executives in high-growth tech environments
  • Direct GTM (Sales, Marketing, RevOps) domain knowledge and business acumen
  • Organizational design and workforce planning expertise
  • Executive coaching and stakeholder influence at C-suite/SVP/VP levels
  • AI fluency for people analytics, attrition models, and sentiment analysis
  • Change management and program governance experience
  • Strong data literacy and ability to synthesize complex inputs into strategic recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with GTM leadership to design roles, division of labor, and structures for humans and AI agents to maximize GTM outcomes.
  • Develop and execute AI-native talent strategy and workforce planning tied to business metrics like pipeline and quota attainment.
  • Diagnose organizational health using qualitative and AI-augmented quantitative inputs to generate data-backed risk hypotheses and interventions.
  • Design and lead complex, cross-functional organizational changes and scaling efforts with clear execution plans and governance.
  • Coach and advise GTM executives on leadership effectiveness, team performance, culture evolution, and change management.
  • Serve as escalation point for GTM people programs, working with COEs (Compensation, Legal, ER) on high-risk cases and compliance.
  • Create high-fidelity strategic documentation (restructuring memos, executive proposals) leveraging AI tools for efficiency.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MA/MBA) a plus but not required
