Vice President of Sales (Southwest)

GuidePoint Security is a rapidly growing, privately-held information security consulting and value-added reseller serving Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. The company seeks an experienced sales leader to own the Southwest region: develop and execute regional sales strategy, mentor and build a high-performing enterprise security sales team, drive revenue through partner and customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet organizational goals.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise security software sales experience using a consultative selling approach
  • Experience selling Risk, Compliance and Security offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to build, coach and lead results-driven sales teams
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting and quota attainment skills
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • High integrity, strong work ethic and proactive leadership
  • Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Southwest sales strategy and annual sales plan to meet regional revenue and growth objectives
  • Lead, coach and mentor the Southwest sales team to maximize performance and career development
  • Participate in and lead client and prospect meetings; leverage corporate resources as needed
  • Collaborate on opportunities, maintain pipeline, provide accurate forecasts and drive business efficiencies
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and executives to align go-to-market strategies with company goals
  • Ensure sales communications and collateral are coordinated and reflect the GuidePoint brand
  • Implement and enforce sales policies and best practices across the region
  • Build and maintain revenue-generating relationships with key local and national partners

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field preferred
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or equivalent professional experience is a plus
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are beneficial
