Senior People Business Partner

Fleetio is a fast-growing SaaS company that helps organizations manage fleet operations and recently closed a $450M Series D. We are seeking a Senior People Business Partner to be an embedded, strategic coach for the CTO, VP of Engineering, and VP of Product — translating company strategy into division-level action, improving team health, and enabling leaders to make better talent decisions.

Skills

  • Proven leadership coaching and stakeholder influence
  • Organizational design and performance management expertise
  • Data-informed decision making and people analytics
  • Change management and prioritization in ambiguous environments
  • Experience running talent calibrations, succession planning, and promotions
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally and translate strategy to operational work
  • Familiarity with HRIS and common people systems

Responsibilities

  • Act as trusted thought partner to division leadership on org design, team health, talent planning, and change management
  • Attend leadership meetings to stay close to goals, challenges, and business shifts
  • Proactively surface people risks and opportunities using data and judgment
  • Lead talent calibrations during quarterly performance cycles and identify key talent and retention risks
  • Prepare and share monthly org health summaries tracking attrition, engagement, and performance trends
  • Support succession planning and promotion readiness aligned to business needs
  • Coach managers on performance, feedback, and team dynamics to improve managerial effectiveness
  • Partner with People Experience, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, and Ops to deliver connected, scalable programs
  • Provide field-level feedback to inform company-wide people initiatives while keeping solutions simple and scalable
  • Collaborate on documentation and resources as needed to support frontline leaders

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred
  • HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred but not required
