The role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth through high-impact partnerships and sales. In this role, you’ll build and expand relationships across healthcare, hospitality, sports, and corporate channels—unlocking new revenue streams and driving Eight Sleep’s presence in the real world. If you’re a natural dealmaker who thrives in dynamic environments and loves turning relationships into results, this role is for you.


How you’ll contribute

  • Expand high-touch affiliation — Identify, negotiate, and activate partnerships with doctors, gyms, and private clubs to drive sales through a trusted network of credible partners.

  • Lead B2B sales — Prospect and close corporate customers (e.g., sports clubs, team deals, company bulk purchases). Deliver compelling pitches, nurture leads, manage pipeline, and negotiate contracts end-to-end.

  • Elevate brand presence — Plan and execute offline activations such as product showcases, events, retail partnerships, and club pop-ups that create high-impact product experiences.

  • Build hospitality partnerships — Identify and grow relationships with world-class hospitality partners to expand distribution and visibility.

  • Drive market insights — Leverage internal and external data to analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and shape go-to-market strategy. Provide ongoing competitive insights to inform stakeholders and decision-making.

What you need to succeed

  • 3–5 years of experience in a business development, commercial, or partnerships role

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to build and sustain trust-based relationships that maximize sales potential and foster long-term partnerships

  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate changing markets, self-organize, and execute with focus and speed

  • Ownership mentality — accountable, resourceful, and driven to deliver results

  • High energy, fast-moving, and comfortable in dynamic, hands-on environments

  • Knowledge of the U.S. medical and human performance industries is a strong plus
