Inside Sales Team Lead

eClinical Solutions provides the elluminate Clinical Data Cloud and expert data services to accelerate clinical development. The Inside Sales Team Lead will drive and manage new opportunity generation for the global mid-market business development team, building repeatable lead generation, nurturing and handoff processes to deliver well-qualified pipeline that supports revenue growth and new client acquisition.

Skills

  • Proven inside sales / business development skills in a SaaS or technology environment
  • Deep knowledge of the clinical trials / life sciences industry
  • CRM expertise (Salesforce) and familiarity with tools like Gong and HubSpot
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience building automated outreach and AI-driven workflows
  • Pipeline management and sales forecasting
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Quota attainment track record

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation and prospecting using phone, email, social channels, events and data sources
  • Design and execute automated outreach flows leveraging AI and sales tools
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects by assessing needs, budget, decision-makers and timing
  • Manage RFP pipeline activity and improve hit rates through territory and pipeline management
  • Conduct discovery calls and deliver tailored SaaS value and ROI messaging
  • Maintain pipeline, activity records and forecasts in CRM
  • Partner with BD and marketing on lead handoff, conference scheduling, and follow-up
  • Serve as internal resource to develop new lead generation approaches and tools
  • Provide regular status updates to BD leadership and contribute to sales targets

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
