DoorDash is hiring a Strategic Account Development Executive to drive adoption of its growing suite of SaaS and commerce platform tools across existing merchant partnerships. The role is a primarily virtual, full-cycle sales position focused on managing a high-volume pipeline, using data-driven storytelling to influence strategic decision makers, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to scale product adoption and revenue.

Skills

  • Proven closing skills in high-volume, complex sales cycles
  • Experience selling B2B SaaS or restaurant technology products
  • Strong discovery and remote selling capabilities (Zoom, phone, digital tools)
  • Salesforce proficiency and CRM pipeline management
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis for forecasting and unit economics
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume, fast-moving pipeline from prospecting through close in a primarily remote selling motion.
  • Run structured end-to-end sales workflow: discovery, data analysis, pitching, negotiation, forecasting, and closing.
  • Engage strategic decision makers (C-suite, VPs, business owners) using data and unit economics to tell a persuasive story.
  • Position advanced DoorDash Commerce platform tools to improve merchant revenue, operations, and brand perception.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and adoption.
  • Contribute to sales process documentation, best practices, and feedback loops for product and process improvements.
  • Travel regionally as needed (up to ~40%) and maintain flexible remote hours to engage merchants.

Education

  • No strict degree requirement; role emphasizes relevant sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
