The Building Services Clerk is a key member of the Building Management Team and is responsible for providing essential building-related services to occupants of the SFPUC Headquarters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact effectively with building occupants and staff.

Administrative and Clerical Support
Class 1406 performs other related duties as required.
Nature of the work:
Must be able to lift packages weighing 20–30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and push mail carts or dollies throughout the building.
Experience:
Two (2) years of clerical experience included preparing and maintaining a variety of records and/or documents, filing, use of office equipment, public contact, and processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
Substitution:
Any one of the following may substitute for six (6) months of the required experience:
Completion of a clerical training program (240 hours);
OR
15 semester units (or equivalent quarter units) of coursework from an accredited college or university;
OR
Completion of an approved City and County of San Francisco Clerical Administrative training program.
One year of full-time employment is equivalent to 2000 hours. (2000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40-hour work week.) Any overtime hours that you work above forty (40) hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.
