Account Executive, Expand - Energy

Celonis is a global leader in process mining and process intelligence software, helping enterprises unlock productivity through data-driven process optimization. The Account Executive, Expand - Energy will own renewal, upsell and cross-sell motions across a portfolio of strategic Energy accounts, working consultatively with senior stakeholders and technical teams to grow adoption and drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Proven enterprise account expansion and upsell experience
  • Strong consultative selling and executive-level communication
  • Comfortable in technical discussions and respected by engineering audiences
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Ability to collaborate with partners and internal teams to drive joint outcomes
  • Customer-centric approach with focus on measurable business impact
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Familiarity with Process Mining or process intelligence solutions (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic Energy accounts to drive renewal, upsell and cross-sell revenue.
  • Own individual revenue targets and close six-figure expansion deals.
  • Engage with executive sponsors and cross-functional stakeholders to align Celonis solutions to business outcomes.
  • Lead technical, commercial, and change-management conversations with engineering and finance teams.
  • Coordinate a virtual team of BDRs, sales engineers, partner managers, marketing, customer success and professional services.
  • Work closely with consulting and technology partners (including Big 4) on joint opportunities and solution delivery.
  • Track account health, forecast accurately, and execute account plans to increase wallet share and adoption.
  • Represent Celonis’ full solution suite (e.g., O2C, P2P, AR/AP, Sustainability, Opportunity Management) in customer conversations.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
  • Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus
