Strategic Account Manager, IDN/Hospital, West Area

Braeburn is a mission-driven specialty pharmaceutical company focused on improving care for people with opioid use disorder (OUD). We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to own relationships with National Accounts, Telehealth providers, hospital systems, and IDNs in the West area, driving adoption, contracting, and patient access while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver compliant, data-driven solutions.

Skills

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of contracting, pricing, and reimbursement for specialty pharmaceuticals
  • Deep knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill distribution models
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and apply business acumen to territory planning
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, dynamic environments and managing complex accounts
  • Commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for assigned National Accounts, Telehealth providers, Hospital Systems, and IDNs
  • Serve as primary relationship owner for targeted accounts and build trusted partnerships at multiple organizational levels
  • Identify, pursue, and secure contracting and access opportunities to drive product adoption and utilization
  • Monitor account-level KPIs, conduct quarterly business reviews, and adjust strategies to meet corporate objectives
  • Collaborate with Market Access, Contracting, Trade, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to align execution
  • Support pull-through efforts with Regional Business Specialists and Key Account Managers
  • Manage budgets and expenses in line with company policies and deliver performance reports to leadership
  • Ensure compliant communication consistent with FDA labeling and REMS program where applicable
  • Travel nationally up to 50–60% to engage account stakeholders and execute territory plans

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD, MS) preferred
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
