Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication Human Resources (HR) organization is currently seeking an Experienced Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to join our team in Portland, OR.

This HRG will play a critical role in managing a variety of Employee Relations and other HR related tasks. The primary focus of this role will include day-to-day support for our operations teams (teammates to senior leaders) on the shop floor.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and administer HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • Develop and/or implement integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives
  • Partner with leadership to implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives
  • Conduct employee investigations, track and monitor case activities
  • Provide resolution to the HR Service Center on elevated issues

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing programs, policies, practices, and processes
  • 3+ year of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant strategies to business outcomes
  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
  • Experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including: Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
  • 3+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
  • Human Resources certification (SHRM and/or PHR Certification)
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce plans to meet organization objectives
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and technology, with preferred applications experience in Workday
  • Experience navigating a matrixed organization

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $87,550 - $128,750
