Account Executive

AvidXchange is a leading provider of accounts payable automation and B2B payment solutions serving middle-market businesses. They are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to grow new business—primarily in the Real Estate vertical—through solution selling, regional prospecting, and relationship building. The role requires strong sales process discipline, proficiency with Salesforce and SalesLoft, and the ability to travel regionally (~50%).

Skills

  • Solution selling and consultative sales approach
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and SalesLoft or similar CRM/engagement tools
  • Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes and accounting systems
  • Ability to build relationships with senior decision makers (AP Manager, Controller, CFO, CEO, IT)
  • Territory management and travel readiness
  • Experience selling SaaS, financial software, or payments solutions
  • Presentation and product demo skills
  • Pricing and negotiation capability

Responsibilities

  • Exceed monthly revenue and lead generation targets for assigned customer segment
  • Prospect, build, and manage a qualified sales pipeline using territory-based outreach
  • Travel within assigned region (~50%) to establish relationships and generate leads
  • Use Salesforce.com and SalesLoft to manage leads, activities, and opportunities
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate AvidXchange value propositions
  • Negotiate pricing, remove objections, and close deals to meet quota
  • Collaborate with teammates, share best practices, and contribute to a winning sales culture
  • Prioritize time to maximize call activity, appointments, and conversion metrics
  • Provide feedback and market insight to leadership on opportunities and competitive landscape

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (finance, business, accounting, economics, marketing, or related preferred)
  • Relevant professional experience in SaaS/B2B sales or financial technology
