As the second recruiter on our fast-growing team, you'll help us build the exceptional team that builds exceptional products.

What You'll Do

As a full-cycle recruiter and key presence in our San Francisco office, you'll:

  • Champion our talent strategy across technical and GTM roles, from initial outreach through offer acceptance and beyond

  • Be the face of Assembled in our Mission/Potrero office, creating memorable candidate experiences that reflect our values of empathy, curiosity, and determination

  • Partner strategically with hiring managers and leadership to design hiring processes that identify not just skilled professionals, but future Assemblers who will thrive in our culture

  • Build meaningful pipelines through creative sourcing strategies, thoughtful inbound programs, and strategic agency partnerships

  • Elevate hiring excellence by coaching and empowering managers to own their part of the process while you provide expert guidance

  • Balance scale with soul — managing high-volume recruiting while ensuring every candidate feels the care and attention they deserve

  • Shape compensation philosophy through data-driven benchmarking and thoughtful offer strategies

  • Drive continuous improvement using metrics and insights to refine our hiring approach

About You

You're not just an experienced recruiter — you're someone who believes that recruiting is fundamentally about relationships and human connection. You:

  • Bring 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in-house

  • Have proven success at an early-stage company (Series B or earlier), competing for and winning top-tier talent

  • Excel at recruiting diverse talent across diverse functions, from engineers who build the future to GTM leaders who bring it to market

  • Thrive in ambiguity and naturally bring structure to undefined challenges

  • Are a confident compensation strategist, skilled in benchmarking, negotiation, and crafting compelling offers

  • Partner effectively with executives and senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor

  • Feel energized by going above and beyond to create exceptional experiences for candidates and employees alike

  • Love in-person collaboration and are excited about being in our SF office 4-5 days per week
