Sales Operations Manager (SMB Sales)

Apollo.io is a fast-growing, AI-native revenue platform used by hundreds of thousands of companies worldwide. We are hiring a Sales Operations Manager to own SMB sales operational processes, drive pipeline growth, improve forecasting accuracy, and build scalable playbooks that enable renewal and expansion performance across post-sales teams.

Skills

  • Proven experience with Salesforce administration and CRMs
  • Familiarity with Apollo.io platform and sales engagement tools
  • Strong forecasting and quota/territory management skills
  • Data analysis and dashboarding (e.g., reports, BI tools)
  • Process design and playbook development
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management and change leadership

Responsibilities

  • Partner with SMB Sales leadership to design and execute territory carving, account balancing, and rules of engagement.
  • Implement process improvements and playbooks to drive 2x pipeline growth and improve productivity.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, activity hygiene metrics, and KPIs to monitor playbook adherence and attainment.
  • Lead forecasting processes and inspection cadences to achieve revenue predictability within +/- 5% accuracy.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with RevOps, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to scale outcomes.
  • Continuously optimize workflows, automation, and CRM hygiene to support growth in a product-led environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Relevant professional training or certifications in Salesforce or sales operations a plus
