Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies for energetics focusing on cost, quality, and resilience
- Manage end-to-end delivery of quality parts at the right cost and cadence
- Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes for energetics commodities
- Own relationships with contract manufacturers; drive continuity of supply, risk mitigation, cost negotiation, and NPI→MP execution
- Partner with engineering to influence design for manufacturability and supplier selection
- Perform detailed quote and supply-chain analysis (TCO) to make data-driven sourcing decisions
- Support prototype requirements, build milestones, and sourcing activities across programs
- Negotiate commercial agreements covering pricing, lead-times, capacity, warranties, and service terms
- Manage supplier performance metrics (delivery, quality, cost, innovation) and act as primary escalation
- Conduct regular technology and commodity reviews for executive leadership
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field (required)
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred)
