Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies for energetics focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply resilience
- Manage end-to-end sourcing including RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and strategic supplier selection
- Own relationships with contract manufacturers and ensure continuity of supply, risk mitigation, and NPI-to-MP execution
- Collaborate with engineering to influence design for manufacturability, specifications, and technology choices
- Perform detailed cost and TCO analyses to inform supplier and component decisions
- Negotiate commercial agreements, warranties, payment terms, and service levels with suppliers
- Lead supplier performance management, tracking delivery, quality, cost, and innovation metrics
- Provide technical and strategic commodity direction and present regular technology reviews to executives
- Act as primary escalation for commodity issues and coordinate cross-functional tradeoffs
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field (required)
- Advanced degree or certifications in supply chain/engineering (preferred)
