Onboarding, Engagement & Development Specialist

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building AI-powered command and control systems and advanced autonomy for allied military use. The Onboarding, Engagement & Development Specialist will own the new-hire onboarding experience, coordinate L&D content and programs, and drive employee engagement initiatives to help new and existing employees adopt company culture, processes, and learning pathways.

Skills

  • Proven onboarding and people operations experience with program ownership
  • Cornerstone and Greenhouse Onboarding proficiency
  • Experience managing LMS content and learning platforms
  • Familiarity with synchronous and asynchronous learning design and delivery
  • Competence with engagement tools (e.g., Slido, Mentimeter) and survey analysis
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the end-to-end onboarding program in partnership with hiring managers and People teams.
  • Serve as primary liaison and point of contact for new hires, providing guidance and support throughout onboarding.
  • Develop, maintain, and localize onboarding materials, checklists, and documentation to reflect current policies and resources.
  • Deliver engaging orientation sessions that communicate company culture, values, and performance expectations.
  • Integrate onboarding workflows with Greenhouse Onboarding and other People processes and systems.
  • Track and report new hire progress and completion of required training and procedural steps.
  • Design, administer, and analyze 30/60/90 day pulse surveys and onboarding metrics to identify improvements.
  • Manage Cornerstone LMS content and coordinate LinkedIn Learning and other learning resources.
  • Create employee experience and engagement programs to boost involvement, retention, and motivation.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and troubleshooting support to new employees and stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Formal training or coursework in HR, learning & development, instructional design, or related field is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, CPLP) preferred but not required
