Skills
- Requirements-based verification and automated test implementation
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for testing and tooling
- Experience with test planning, defect tracking, and configuration control
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC
- Experience in statistical analysis and interpreting test data
- Ability to write testable requirements and trace tests to requirements
- Experience in aerospace/defense verification and familiarity with regulatory standards (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and execute product verification and validation activities across the development lifecycle
- Implement and automate software verification tests and test cases traced to requirements
- Analyze and simulate requirements to verify compliance with customer or internal specifications
- Review use cases, requirements, and specifications to ensure verifiability and identify risk mitigations
- Execute complex tests, perform statistical analysis, and interpret results independently
- Produce reports summarizing test results with conclusions and recommendations
- Lead ad hoc testing and failure-mode analysis to characterize designs and performance
- Conduct V&V design reviews per project plans and company procedures
- Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory standards and incorporate into testing plans
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a growing V&V team
Education
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
