Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Versant Media is seeking a strategic and experienced VP, Software Engineering to lead the teams responsible for building and maintaining our core digital products and platforms. This is a critical leadership role that will oversee the back-end, front-end, mobile, and quality assurance functions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development across the full stack, with a proven ability to manage high-performing engineering teams and drive complex, cross-functional projects. This person will be a key leader in modernizing our technology stack, including the unification of various Content Management Systems (CMS) and the implementation of a new Media Asset Management (MAM) platform.
