Mid-Market Account Executive, NA West (Remote)

Akuity builds an enterprise-grade GitOps platform founded by the creators of Argo CD to help teams manage Kubernetes at scale. The company is seeking a technical, quota-carrying Mid-Market Account Executive to drive net-new business and expansion across the Western North American region, working with DevOps and Platform Engineering stakeholders in SaaS/enterprise environments.

Skills

  • Proven B2B SaaS closing experience and consistent quota achievement
  • Strong technical orientation with understanding of DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud-native ecosystems
  • Experience with outbound prospecting and territory planning
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC
  • Comfort presenting technical solutions and articulating ROI to technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM) to manage pipeline and forecasting

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of net-new and expansion opportunities across the assigned territory
  • Generate new business via multichannel outbound campaigns and prospecting
  • Develop and execute a territory plan with target accounts and pipeline strategies
  • Research accounts, identify stakeholders, and cultivate relationships to progress opportunities
  • Run consultative sales cycles (typically 3–4 months) mapping technical needs to business outcomes and ROI
  • Leverage MEDDPICC and other sales methodologies to qualify, advance, and forecast deals
  • Record and manage all activities and pipeline in HubSpot
  • Partner with Customer Success and Engineering as customer advocate; represent customer feedback and feature requests
  • Attend customer meetings and industry events several times per year

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
