Whatnot is seeking a senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, vision, and execution for our core video platformâthe engine that powers real-time, commerce-driven livestreaming. As the most senior IC PM for video, youâll own the infrastructure, UX, and developer surface area that enables thousands of sellers to go live, millions of users to watch, and seamless transactions to happen in real time.
You will partner closely with engineering, design, infra, and creator-facing teams to scale our low-latency video systems, evolve our broadcast and viewing experience, and enable new formats. Your work will shape the future of livestream and video based shopping.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the video platform, from ingestion and encoding to playback and seller tooling.
Define and execute against SLAs for quality, reliability, and latency
Collaborate with infrastructure, client, and ML teams to optimize video delivery and viewer experience
Drive integrations with interactive features (e.g., chat, auctions, overlays) to deepen engagement
Partner with sellers and internal teams to understand pain points and translate them into scalable video solutions
Establish product metrics and experimentation frameworks to validate performance and user impact
Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, or Los Angeles, CA hubs.

As our next Video Platform Product Manager you should have 8+ years of product management experience, plus:
 2+ years working on video, streaming, or infrastructure-heavy products
 Proven ability to ship complex, technical systems at scale
Strong technical fluencyâyouâre comfortable navigating tradeoffs in encoding, protocols, and CDN design
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and levels
Passion for small business, live video, and building novel consumer experiences
