Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-performing support staff
- Mentor and develop team members through regular coaching and training
- Manage HR responsibilities in compliance with state and federal law
- Market the hospital and build relationships with referring veterinarians and local partners
- Gather and act on customer feedback and experience metrics
- Oversee daily operations including facility upkeep, inventory, and controlled substances
- Implement and enforce hospital policies (DEA/Controlled Substances, OSHA)
- Create cost-effective non-doctor schedules aligned to customer demand
- Manage payroll, accounts receivable, cash handling, and P&L responsibilities
- Participate in financial planning and meetings with regional leadership
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
