Customer Experience Coordinator - Relief - Columbia, MD

VEG is a rapidly growing emergency veterinary company focused on delivering exceptional experiences for pet parents and teams across the U.S. We are seeking an outgoing, organized Customer Experience Coordinator (Relief) to shepherd pet owners through their visit, elevate service touchpoints, and help optimize hospital flow in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and triage incoming calls, texts, and emails; transfer medically related calls to doctors quickly
  • Greet and check in customers with warmth and urgency; announce arrivals to the team
  • Monitor wait times, identify bottlenecks, and support workflow efficiency improvements
  • Process payments and maintain accurate customer personal and financial records
  • Manage customer complaints empathetically and resolve issues promptly
  • Circulate the hospital to engage waiting customers and update clinical staff on needs
  • Follow up with customers 24 hours after visits and invite feedback via surveys
  • Arrange video chats, facilitate customer presence with pets, and personalize customer experiences

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some college or customer service-related coursework preferred
