Responsibilities
- Answer and triage incoming calls, emails, and texts; transfer medically urgent calls to clinicians quickly
- Greet customers upon arrival, check them in, and announce their presence to the team
- Monitor wait times, identify workflow bottlenecks, and help improve efficiency
- Process payments and maintain accurate customer personal and financial records
- Listen to and resolve customer complaints with empathy and ownership
- Offer beverages/snacks and create a warm, curated experience for visitors
- Collect customer feedback and share positive comments and patterns with the team
- Follow up with customers 24 hours after visits to check on pet status
- Facilitate video chats between customers and care teams when needed
- Capture and celebrate special moments with customer permission
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or relevant certificate preferred
- Veterinary or medical office training is a plus
