Responsibilities
- Greet clients and pets, complete sign-in, and verify appointment details
- Escort clients to exam rooms and relay information to clinical staff
- Answer inbound calls and manage appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups
- Process payments, manage invoicing, and maintain accurate records
- Communicate clearly about common vaccines, lab tests, procedures, and pet behavior
- Maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready front desk and waiting area
- Handle sensitive conversations (e.g., end-of-life care, financial discussions) with empathy
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous veterinary, medical front desk, receptionist, or administrative assistant experience
