Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets, complete sign-in, verify appointment details, and provide reassurance
- Support clinical flow by escorting clients to exam rooms and relaying information to clinical staff
- Handle incoming and outgoing client communications including appointment scheduling, reminders, prescription refills, and follow-ups
- Process payments, manage invoicing, and schedule future appointments accurately
- Communicate clearly using veterinary terminology about vaccines, tests, procedures, and basic care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready reception area and occasionally assist with pet-related clean-up
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a medical or veterinary front-desk, receptionist, or administrative role
