SVP, Growth

Velir is a remote-first, mid-sized digital agency with a top-tier client portfolio and a recently expanded data and analytics capability. The SVP of Growth will build and lead a high-performing sales and partner organization, drive new logo acquisition and account expansion across Velir’s services, and establish a strategic partner alliances program to accelerate revenue growth.

Skills

  • Proven track record in enterprise sales and business development
  • Experience building and scaling partner alliance programs
  • Strong analytical skills for sales forecasting and performance measurement
  • Comfortable using CRM and sales operations tooling
  • Excellent relationship-building and executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle sales: prospecting, pursuit leadership, deal closing, and forecasting
  • Build and manage a sales and partner team using a player-coach approach
  • Define and implement repeatable sales processes, KPIs, and performance reporting
  • Develop account plans for new logos and expansion within existing clients
  • Design and execute partner alliance strategy and manage partner relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Services and delivery teams to align proposals and outcomes
  • Research market segments, prioritize target industries, and identify whitespace opportunities
  • Track partnership program activity and measure partner-sourced revenue and health

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree (MBA) preferred but not required
