Mission:
As an Account Executive you will identify potential clients, communicating with and demonstrating what Ascent has to offer and how our products can solve problems they face. You will be a business driver for new logo accounts and landing new business working in partnership with the Microsoft Alliance team and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Achieves individual sales quotas aligned to company revenue goals
Drives new business and net new logos in the assigned sales territory
Cultivates relationships and uses Ascent Solutions sales strategies throughout multiple levels of the customer's organization to establish strong alignment on long-term goals and secure buy-in and execution.
Maintains an accurate and healthy pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual targets.
Partner with Pre-sales, Alliances, Sales, and Services holding self to deliver compelling customer solutions.
Leverages knowledge of and experience with Ascent and Microsoft's product and service landscape, solutions, and strategy to address customer's needs.
Navigates client challenges with guidance from leadership when needed.
Develops relationships with customer contacts and business decision makers.
Seeks customer feedback (both formal and informal) regarding ways to acquire, retain, and grow more engagement and collaboration.
Forecasts sales activity and revenue accurately in CRM.
Conducts strategic prospecting to generate new opportunities.
Qualifications:
5+ years successful experience in selling services or solutions, managed services background preferred.
Demonstrated experience of selling services to large enterprise customers with a revenue of $50 - $250M, cybersecurity, and experience with the Microsoft suite of security and compliance software, including the MS E5 platform.
Proven track record and achievement reaching/exceeding specific quota size, i.e., $5M in annual sales.
Experience selling contracts with a total value of $500K+ and experience in the enterprise market preferred.
Experience with channel sales, Microsoft partner channel preferred.
Proven ability to understand customer needs, create and deliver customized, customer-focused experiences, pitches and solutions.

Expected salary range is $110K-$135K plus incentive pay.
