The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is a state wide campus, with faculty based on University campuses, at Research and Extension Centers and in every Arkansas county. Summary of Job Duties:

The 4-H Accountant will lead all budgeting and financial transactions for the department. Will work in concert with our foundation and center teams. All three parts of our department work together to submit financial transactions, payment requests, gifts, grants, and other budgetary functions.

This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), state and federal laws, and agency policy.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in general business, business management, finance, accounting or a related field; OTHER JOB-RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.

Preferred Qualifications
Three years of experience in fiscal operations. Experience using Workday. Knowledge and/or experience working in Cooperative Extension.
