Overview
McConnell Golf is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant Manager to join our team. This is a Full-time position featuring outstanding benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
This is an in-person position working at our home office, Raleigh Country Club.

Responsibilities
- Accounting Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial roles
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles (no accounting degree required)
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
- Experience with accounting software, POS systems, and/or club management software preferred, including but not limited to (Jonas, Northstar, Clubessential, etc.) but not a requirement
- Strong general computer skills; comfortable learning new systems quickly
- Communication & Interpersonal:
- Professional and friendly phone demeanor and personal —this role will interact with members regarding billing questions, statements, and payments
- Strong written communication for emails and member correspondence
- Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism in a private club setting
- Organizational Strengths:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
Preferred Attributes (Nice to Have):
- Experience in a hospitality or private club environment
- Familiarity with monthly billing cycles, statement reconciliations, and collections follow-up
- Some exposure to member service roles or CRM platforms
- Associates degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business (not required)
