As a strategic individual contributor and core member of the Organizational Development and Learning & Development Department, you will lead the design of learning content with key stakeholders to ensure that planning, analysis, and design of content to develop talent across the organization. The Learning Experience Design Lead will collaborate with the Learning and Development Facilitators and Organization Development team to design courses, update content and materials to ensure relevance, engagement, and timeliness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and design full learning experiences across the Talent Development and Learning domain. • Manage and supervise the Learning and Development team members that report directly to you, including development and coaching. • Manage and oversee the org wide training calendar and catalog, including continued maintenance, new catalog and calendar for each fiscal year, and engaging with stakeholders across the org to maintain its accuracy. • Analyze current trends in performance across the organization, future goals, and organizational priorities against current offerings to put forward recommendations to fill gaps. • Strategically assess workforce needs in collaboration with key stakeholders and Talent Acquisition to make recommendations for scaling and sustainability of internal developmental programs to continuously ensure a strong talent pipeline. • Oversee the communication strategy and roll out of the org wide calendar and catalog of professional development. • Stay abreast of best practices and learning and development trends to ensure our professional development is high quality and innovative. • Uphold and maintain the Professional Development Standards for the organization- ensuring that new and existing trainers meet standards and are adequately supported. • Analyze metrics and data against content to continuously improve and put forward recommendations to ensure learning application and learner satisfaction meet expectations. • Provide continuous feedback and observation to the Learning and Development Facilitators on a regular basis to ensure they are growing their capacity and meeting organizational Professional Development and Facilitation standards. • Manage and oversee the Learning Management System and its ongoing maintenance and improvement. • Possess a strong understanding of learning design and adult learning principles to create professional development and a variety of learning materials. • Design and deploy learning experiences aligned to organizational and programmatic priorities. • Develop appropriate learning assets and instructional materials in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, engaging, and effective for defined audiences (learner guides, engagement strategies, debrief, and reflections). • Collaborate with departments and teams to identify learning needs and develop strategic innovative solutions. • Design and facilitate a variety of engaging learning experiences such as LMS, online courses, in-person workshops, and blended solutions to ensure learning is accessible and impactful for diverse audiences. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:• 5+ years in learning experience design or instructional design. • Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Education Technology, or related field • Proven expertise in designing and developing learning content for both online and in-person formats. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: • Strong project management skills focused on the delivery of high-quality learning products on time. • Strong relationship skills to partner and collaborate with subject matter experts. • Excellent facilitation skills with experience leading engaging and effective training sessions. • Highly skilled communicator and collaborator who is capable of working effectively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels. • Experience in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of learning experiences using data and feedback. COMPUTER SKILLS: • Intermediate level experience with Project Management Software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.) • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Adobe • File Management (One Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc.) • Email, internet, website, and social media platforms • Use of typical office equipment
