Mrs. Wordsmith is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive growth in K–12 institutional sales as their new National Sales Executive for the US. This remote role will collaborate with internal and external partners to drive warm leads to signed contracts while also prospecting for and developing new district partnerships.

Success will require deep familiarity with the K–12 decision-making processes, the ability to build trust with district leaders, and a relentless focus on closing late-stage new revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in establishing and using sales playbooks and efficient sales processes to drive growth.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual sales plan to achieve national sales targets within the K-12 education sector.
  • Convert warm introductions from outside consultants and company leadership into signed district and state-level agreements.
  • Engage in prospecting activities to identify and qualify new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Expertly manage sales cycle including proposals, tailored presentations, product demos, negotiations, and contracting.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership and consultants to refine positioning, pricing, and closing strategies.
  • Establish and implement a US sales playbook to standardize and optimize the sales process.
  • Translate the value of products into outcomes that resonate with superintendents, curriculum directors, principals, and purchasing committees.
  • Represent the company at key conferences, trade shows, and district-level meetings, focusing on accelerating deals already in motion.
  • Provide structured feedback to product and marketing teams based on buyer needs and objections uncovered during late-stage conversations.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management all with an eye on delivering against agreed revenue targets.
