They are seeking a K-12 Account Executive to join their team in Southern California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in K-12 education core curriculum sales, an established education contact network in the region, and demonstrated procurement process experience at the district or school level.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets across Southern California
  • Identify and engage potential clients to promote Imagine Learning's products and services
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to district and school leaders, understanding the unique challenges of K–12 education and offering solutions that align with educational goals
  • Manage multiple accounts while continuously prospecting for new opportunities
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase Imagine Learning's offerings to prospective buyers
  • Compile and analyze data to find trends; stay current on company offerings and industry trends
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software
  • Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a world class customer experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in K-12 education core curriculum sales
  • An established education contact network in the region
  • Ability to travel up to 75% within Southern California, including some overnight travel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent relationship building and networking capabilities
  • Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines
  • Knowledge of current digital trends/digital solutions in K-12 education
  • Computer skills, including MS Office and CRM software (preferably experience with Salesforce)
  • Live in the territory (LA County preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor's Degree

Compensation

  • Base salary of $100,000-120,000, including a generous, uncapped commission plan
