In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process for our diverse workforce. Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll laws and regulations
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Perform regular audits of payroll processes and procedures
- Collaborate with HR to ensure timely onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
- Familiarity with accounting software and payroll systems
- Excellent math and numerical skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
