A Brief Overview

Responsible for performance of assigned duties related to financial reporting, general accounting, and financial audits. The Accountant works closely with their assigned leader and others as necessary to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting of financial information.

What you will do

• Completes assigned monthly and year-end accounting procedures, reporting and support of external audit preparation and tax return preparation.
• Performs job responsibilities, objectives and standards within established policies, processes, and procedures established by Finance Leadership to ensure compliance.
• Completes assigned routine reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory mandates.
• Support tasks associated with Finance team special projects as directed by director/manager.
• Participates and serves on interdepartmental committees and teams as requested by the director/manager.
• Assigned responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Bank transfers, reconciliations and account audits.
• Coding to the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers of any items related to payables and receivables.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

• Associate's or 4 years of relevant experience
