Skills
- Experience with wireless signal processing, modem systems, or physical layer processing (L1).
- Proficiency in C/C++ or MATLAB for algorithm development.
- Familiarity with 3GPP 4G/5G (LTE/NR) PHY or other OFDM waveforms (WiMAX, 802.11, DVB, NTN).
- Understanding of forward error correction (FEC) concepts and MAC basics.
- Experience optimizing fixed- and floating-point signal processing implementations.
- Comfortable with Linux command line, git, and Python scripting.
- Experience with SDR platforms and system-level debugging/performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement physical layer (PHY) algorithms for satellite-based 4G/5G (LTE/NR) eNodeB/gNodeB.
- Develop optimized signal processing algorithms for resource-constrained CPUs.
- Create models and run simulations to validate system and modem performance.
- Design, implement, test, maintain, and document PHY and MAC layers of the protocol stack.
- Identify and debug complex performance issues across PHY and MAC layers.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews and contribute to system dimensioning for next-generation hardware.
- Support productization and commercial deployment through the full release cycle.
Education
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
