- Antenna design and theory, including phased arrays and reflector systems
- Hands‑on RF test equipment: spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers/generators, network analyzers
- Electromagnetic simulation (e.g., HFSS, CST, FEKO) and RF modeling
- Microwave/mmWave characterization and waveguide experience
- RF front‑end design and understanding of active/passive RF components
- Programming for automation and data analysis (Python; familiarity with C++, C#, or MATLAB)
- Design for manufacturability and production test development
Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems, and RF front ends for phased arrays, gateways, and consumer products
- Create and validate electromagnetic simulation models (antennas, filters, PCB layouts) to predict and optimize performance
- Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, DSP, silicon, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate and validate RF systems
- Develop and test phased array alignment and calibration solutions
- Rapidly develop design, validation, and production test solutions for high‑volume consumer and gateway products
- Write automation software (Python) to control units under test, test equipment, instrumentation, and documentation systems
- Define and execute RF characterization and verification plans, and drive issues to closure through production readiness
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline (required)
- Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering with emphasis in RF/antenna engineering (preferred)
