- Familiarity with AS9100 and FAA Part 21 requirements
- Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, and statistical quality metrics
- Working knowledge of SQL and ability to build/maintain Tableau metrics
- Strong technical writing and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel up to 50%
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve the Starlink Aviation quality management system (QMS).
- Plan, schedule, and perform internal, supplier, and external audits for AS9100/ISO and FAA Part 21 conformity.
- Train and guide management and internal customers on QMS policies, procedures, and implementation.
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and lead root-cause investigations to close non-conformances.
- Measure, analyze, and report audit and quality metrics; maintain Tableau/QM dashboards.
- Initiate and lead change requests for policies, procedures, and audit checklists.
- Support FAA hardware and installation conformity activities and supplier quality engagements.
- Travel as needed to support audits, supplier reviews, and field conformity (up to 50%).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM discipline (required)
- Relevant certifications or lead auditor training (preferred, e.g., ASQ-CQA or RAB)
