The Company
Halo Industries has invented a revolutionary technology to replace a decades-old semiconductor material slicing process. Our laser-based technology eliminates waste, improves material cost and performance, and drives advancements in high-growth markets like automotive, telecommunications, and power electronics. Founded in 2014 at Stanford University, Halo secured significant funding in 2024 and is poised for rapid growth, engaging strategic customers and preparing for volume manufacturing.
We are seeking a results-driven, hands-on, agile, Continuous Improvement Process Engineer to reduce operating costs across all aspects of manufacturing. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and driving cost reduction projects across the engineering team focused on volume manufacturing. Projects will eventually scale globally across our Silicon Carbide (SiC) wafer fabrication facilities.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high volume manufacturing, SiC ingot and wafer manufacturing or related high tech fields. This role requires a strong background in process engineering, complex project management, and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation. You will be interfacing across the company from the executive level down to the operations team on the floor with high visibility projects.
PMP certification and the use of project management tools, stakeholder engagement, and concise documentation, and strong communication across engineering, quality, and customer contacts is required.
