- PCB stackup, material, and high-volume manufacturing knowledge
- Lab test and characterization of high-speed channels and PDNs
- Programming for automating analysis and data (Python, C/C++)
Responsibilities
- Specify, design, simulate, verify, and qualify SI and PI for satellite payload hardware and production screens
- Architect and optimize high-speed channels from die-to-die including transitions, stackups, and material selection
- Design and validate power delivery networks for ASICs, processors, FPGAs and high-bandwidth devices
- Simulate with 3D EM and channel tools, and drive lab characterization and debug of prototypes
- Work cross-functionally with RF, antenna, ASIC, packaging, mechanical, thermal, software and production teams
- Define SI/PI best practices, signoff criteria, test methodologies, and lab equipment needs
- Root-cause manufacturing, PCBA test, and satellite integration issues and implement corrective actions
- Select and specify components and materials to meet high-speed and power delivery requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related field (required)
- Master’s or PhD in EE/CE with emphasis in electromagnetics, transmission line theory, or power integrity (preferred)
