Sr. Partnerships Manager (Starlink Aviation)

SpaceX’s Starlink Aviation team is building world-class in-flight connectivity and is hiring a results-driven Sr. Partnerships Manager to drive commercial adoption across airlines, content providers, and aviation suppliers. The role requires strong commercial instincts, relationship-building, technical fluency with connectivity solutions, and the ability to close high-value deals that accelerate Starlink adoption on commercial aircraft.

  • Proven business development and partnership negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial strategy and pricing experience
  • Analytical capability to evaluate business and technical trade-offs
  • Experience closing sales or partnerships with aviation customers
  • Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, regulatory, and product teams
  • Customer discovery and product feedback integration
  • Contract and agreement management
  • Willingness to travel ~50% and work extended hours/weekends as needed
  • Familiarity with Starlink/network infrastructure and aviation connectivity (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end partnership deals between SpaceX and commercial aviation partners, including negotiation and contract execution
  • Lead pricing, commercial strategy, business discussions, and negotiations on behalf of Starlink Aviation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, regulatory, business) and report to the Global Head of Starlink Aviation
  • Develop commercial, marketing, and business materials; maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal technology and regulatory constraints
  • Perform deep customer discovery and relay feedback to engineering to inform product direction and roadmap
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and deal tracking to inform leadership strategy and planning
  • Synthesize complex technical and commercial information and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Create playbooks, product documentation, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations to support partner engagements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred, or equivalent experience (see qualifications)
