We are seeking a part-time Contract Recruiting Lead to partner with Podium's founders and leadership to build an industry-leading recruiting and HR function. This person will be responsible for attracting and securing top-tier talent across engineering, operations, and corporate functions, as well as setting up infrastructure to scale Podium's team from 10 to 100 FTEs. The role will start as a part-time contract position with opportunity to convert into a full-time employee.
What You'll Do
Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, operations, and corporate functions and several critical roles simultaneously
Partner with founders and leadership to understand hiring needs and define talent strategies going from 0 to 1
Source, engage, and close top talent using platforms like LinkedIn, Ashby, and your own creative strategies
Drive structured interview processes, including kickoffs, debriefs, and continuous improvements
Maintain a high-quality candidate experience at every touchpoint of the interview process
Provide market insights and data to inform decision-making and help hiring managers stay competitive
Represent Podium Automation's values and mission in the external talent market

Required for this role
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including working directly with Hiring Managers, driving strategic recruiting efforts based on business needs, profile calibration and sourcing and building candidate pipelines
Experience acting in a consultative manner where your guidance has led to improved outcomes, and a positive candidate experience
Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization
Experience managing various funnels of candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process
Ability to navigate ambiguity and act with high agency
Ability to work 20-25 hours / week on-site in Brooklyn, NY
