Are you organized and enjoy helping others? We’re looking for a reliable Office Specialist to support our small but mighty team! This temporary position is a great opportunity to gain meaningful experience and make a difference in the lives of social workers—and the Oregonians they serve.

The State Board of Licensed Social Workers regulates and supports about 6,000 licensed social workers across Oregon. Your work will help keep things running smoothly for applicants, licensees, and the public.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review and process new license applications
  • Track and file important documents
  • Grade exams and enter scores into our system
  • Follow up with applicants if information is missing
  • Help manage the Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) supervision program
  • Communicate with applicants and licensees by phone and email
  • Keep confidential information safe and secure
  • Support our small team with other office tasks

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR

An associate degree in any field; OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.
